岩手県の遠野市にある小川では「カッパが住んでいて人々を驚かし、いたずらをした！」という言い伝えがあるそうですo(*’o’*)o 今では“カッパ淵”と呼ばれていて、釣り糸が垂らされています。エサはもちろんキュウリ(笑)！こんな幻想的な場所ならカッパも出てきそうですね～☆
In Tono city in Iwate prefecture, there is this myth that a water demon called “Kappa” in Japanese played a prank on people. Because of the myth, this pool is called “Kappabuchi pool”, meaning a “water demon pool”. Until this present day people follow this custom based on the myth to leave a fishing rod with a cucumber as fish bait to catch Kappa.
